Our Mission

 
God's Word to the Nations is a mission resource to God's people in mission! We identify, equip, and empower individuals who will take GOD'S WORD® to the English-speaking people of the world, focusing especially upon those who do not know Jesus as their Savior.

We do this by


PARTNERING with visionary leaders, local congregations, mission agencies, and evangelistic organizations,

PROVIDING special editions of GOD'S WORD® to individuals and organizations that are focused on reaching various people groups who do not know Jesus as their Savior,

PUBLISHING customized ministry editions of GOD'S WORD® for evangelistic use,

LICENSING the print, audio, video, and electronic rights to GOD'S WORD®, and

KEEPING our translation, GOD'S WORD®, current in the language of today.

What kind of translation is GOD'S WORD®? It's the one to use to reach people who are searching -- "people who are lost!" (Luke 19:10)

God's Word to the Nations was founded in 1985 as a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) religious / research organization. Our organization managed and funded the translation of GOD'S WORD®.

A New Strategy for Evangelism!

Our ministry, like the apostle Paul (see Romans 15:20-21), strongly believes that we need to be taking GOD'S WORD® to the people in our communities, our nation, and the world who do NOT know Jesus as their Savior!

This biblical strategy (see Luke 8:4-15) for doing God's mission (as revealed in Luke 19:10) focuses upon identifying, involving, and encouraging people to give a copy of GOD'S WORD® to a friend, associate, classmate, or stranger as part of their personal role in God's mission. In fact, this new strategy helps us visualize the mission Jesus gave us (as detailed in Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:7)!
